Broncos Coach Updates on Josh Reynolds’ Recovery

Broncos head coach Sean Payton shared on Friday that wide receiver Josh Reynolds is on the mend after being shot a week ago. “He’s fortunate,” Payton stated, according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. “Clearly, the league and local authorities are handling the situation. I’ve had a chance to talk with him; he was pretty shaken up, and I’ll leave it at that.”

According to court documents obtained by 9News, Reynolds suffered injuries to his left arm and the back of his head while exiting a strip club in the early hours of October 18. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured, as confirmed by the team. Another individual was also shot in the back during the incident .

Payton addressed the team about the shooting on Friday, highlighting that players have access to counseling and various support resources.

Reynolds participated in practice on Friday, just as he had on the previous two days.
